Role Description The Insurance Agent role at Shriram Life Insurance is a full time, in office position based in Chennai.

The Insurance

Agent will identify prospective clients, explain insurance products, and recommend suitable plans aligned with customer needs and financial goals. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients, conducting needs assessments, preparing quotations, and assisting with policy applications and documentation. The role also involves maintaining ongoing relationships with policyholders, resolving service-related queries,



and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely issuance and servicing of policies.

The Insurance

Agent will be expected to meet sales targets, stay updated on product features and regulatory requirements, and represent Shriram Life Insurance with professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications
Strong skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance, with the ability to explain policies clearly and match products to customer needs.
Experience or knowledge in Insurance Brokerage and Finance, enabling effective financial planning discussions with clients.
Proven Customer Service skills, including active listening, empathy, and timely resolution of client concerns.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships across diverse customer segments.
Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work towards sales targets and manage time efficiently.
Basic proficiency in digital tools and CRM or sales tracking systems.
Preferred: Prior experience in life insurance or financial services, and familiarity with local market dynamics.
Educational qualification in business, finance, commerce, or a related field is an advantage.
