The Marketing Head is responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies to increase devotee engagement, promote temple events and religious activities, strengthen the temples digital presence, and build long-term relationships with devotees, donors, volunteers, and corporate partners. The role focuses on enhancing the temples visibility while preserving its spiritual values.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Branding

* Develop annual marketing and branding strategies for the temple.
* Plan promotional campaigns for festivals, utsavams, homams, sevas, annadanam, and special events.
* Maintain a consistent temple brand across all communication channels.
* Design and execute awareness campaigns to increase devotee participation.

Digital Marketing

* Manage the temple’s website and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, etc.).
* Plan and publish daily content, reels, festival updates, and live-stream promotions.
* Run Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google advertising campaigns.
* Monitor digital performance and improve online engagement.





Devotee & Donor Engagement

* Develop campaigns to encourage donations, annadanam sponsorships, and seva bookings.
* Build relationships with devotees, donors, and volunteers.
* Coordinate email, SMS, and WhatsApp communication for temple activities.

Events & Public Relations

* Promote temple festivals and cultural programmes.
* Coordinate with media, photographers, videographers, and event partners.
* Represent the temple during promotional and community outreach activities.

Team Management

* Lead and supervise the marketing team, designers, content creators, photographers, and vendors.
* Assign responsibilities and monitor project completion.
* Conduct regular performance reviews.

Reporting

* Prepare monthly reports on campaign performance, devotee engagement, social media growth, event participation, and marketing expenditure.
