Role Description The Overseas Education Counselor is a full time, on-site role based in the Kothrud Pune Division. This position involves engaging with prospective students and families, understanding their academic background and career aspirations, and advising on suitable countries, programs, and institutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, explaining admission and visa processes, assisting with application documentation, and coordinating with universities and partners as needed.

The counselor will maintain accurate records of interactions, follow up with applicants throughout the admission cycle, and participate in seminars, events, and outreach activities to promote overseas education services.



The role also requires staying updated on international education trends, eligibility criteria, and policy changes across multiple destination countries.

Qualifications
Robust skills in Educational Consulting and Education advisory, with the ability to guide learners on suitable courses, institutions, and countries.
Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to support individuals in aligning study choices with long-term career goals.
Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to explain complex processes in a simple manner.
Relevant experience in overseas education, study abroad consulting, or academic advisory services.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Management, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a learner-focused approach, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Comfort with using office productivity tools, CRM or student management systems, and online communication platforms.
Ability to work in office in the Pune Division and manage multiple student cases and deadlines in a structured manner.
