Role Description
This is a full time remote role for a Python Backend Developer at PPStack. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining backend services and APIs that power PPStack’s AI-driven learning platforms and career solutions. Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient,
and secure Python code, integrating databases, optimizing application performance, and ensuring scalability and reliability of backend systems. The Python Backend Developer will collaborate closely with frontend engineers, data and AI teams, product managers, and instructional designers to deliver new features and improve existing services. Day-to-day tasks also include debugging issues, participating in code reviews, contributing to technical documentation, and supporting deployments in cloud environments.
Qualifications
Solid proficiency in Python for backend development, including experience with one or more frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Practical experience in API design and integration (REST or GraphQL), including authentication, authorization, and versioning.
Working knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and data modeling for s
