Position : Sr QC Engineer (copper division)
Job Purpose

To ensure that copper products and manufacturing processes comply with approved customer specifications, drawings, quality standards, and internal quality requirements through effective inspection, testing, process control, and documentation.
Key ResponsibilitiesA. Raw Material Inspection
Inspect incoming copper raw materials as per approved specifications and purchase requirements.
Verify material grade, size, thickness, width, weight, surface condition, and identification.
Review Mill Test Certificates (MTC), test certificates, and material traceability documents.
Ensure proper identification and traceability of copper material throughout the process.
Report and control non-conforming raw materials.

B. In-Process Quality Inspection
Conduct stage-wise inspection of copper manufacturing processes.
Monitor critical process parameters and ensure compliance with approved SOPs and work instructions.
Inspect dimensions, shape, surface finish, straightness, joints, bends, and other applicable parameters.




Verify product quality at intermediate and final stages.
Identify process deviations and coordinate with Production for corrective action.

C. Final Product Inspection
Carry out final inspection of copper products against approved drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
Check dimensional accuracy, surface quality, workmanship, and functional requirements.
Ensure products meet applicable customer and internal quality standards before dispatch.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality records.

D. Testing & Measurement
Perform or coordinate required tests on copper products as per specifications.
Ensure measuring instruments are calibrated and available for inspection activities.
Maintain inspection equipment and measurement records.
Verify test results and take appropriate action in case of deviations.
