Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathe machines to produce high-quality components as per engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate conventional lathe machine to machine components as per production requirements.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and ensure machining is performed to specifications.
Set up the machine, including selecting and installing the right tools and workpieces.
Perform routine inspections of tools and machine setups to ensure consistent quality.
Measure finished components using gauges, calipers,



micrometers, and other precision instruments.
Conduct preventive maintenance and minor repairs on the machine as required.
Monitor the machining process and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols.
Collaborate with the quality and production teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
ITI in Mechanical or Machining.
2+ years of experience as a Lathe Operator in a manufacturing or machining industry.
Robust understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances.
Proficiency in using measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, and general gauges.
Knowledge of machining materials such as aluminum, steel, and cast iron.
Hands-on experience in machine setup, tool selection, and troubleshooting.
