JOB DESCRIPTION:Business Development– NEW PROJECTS

JOB PURPOSE
The Business Development Manager is responsible for planning, executing and reporting on new initiatives, with end-to-end ownership of project presentations, financial performance (including P&L;), applied research and AI-driven improvements, business development and expansion, team coordination, stakeholder communication and sports programme alignment. The role reports directly to Head New Projects and acts as the driving force behind current project rollouts and GFG's growth and beyond.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Planning & Presentations
● Develop project plans, timelines and roadmaps for new initiatives.
● Prepare and deliver clear, qualified PPTs and proposals for management and stakeholder review.
Finances & P&L; Management
● Prepare and monitor budgets for new projects; track actuals against plan.
● Own the project-level P&L;, flag variances and recommend corrective actions.
Research & AI
● Conduct market, industry and competitor research to inform new project decisions.
● Identify and apply AI tools to improve efficiency in reporting, planning or operations.
Business Development/PR & Expansion
● Identify new business opportunities, partnerships and locations to support GFG's growth.
● Prepare feasibility studies and expansion proposals for new academies/centres and take them forward with management.
● Support outreach to potential sponsors, partners and institutions to grow GFG's footprint. Maintain public relations.
People Management
● Coordinate and support project teams; allocate tasks and monitor performance.
● Resolve day-to-day people and coordination issues within the project team.
