Role Description
The Assistant Manager Regulatory Open Access and Battery Energy Storage Systems is a full-time, in office role based in Uttar Pradesh, India. This role involves managing regulatory compliances and approvals related to open access for solar and battery energy storage projects, including coordinating with state and central electricity regulatory bodies and distribution companies. The position includes monitoring regulatory changes, analyzing their impact on existing and planned projects, and preparing documentation,



applications, and reports required for regulatory submissions. The role also supports project teams by providing regulatory guidance, maintaining organized records of permissions and licenses, and ensuring timelines and conditions are met. The Assistant Manager collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, legal, finance, and operations to align project execution with regulatory frameworks and support strategic planning for future solar and storage initiatives.

Qualifications
Strong knowledge of power sector regulations, open access policies, and battery energy storage system guidelines in India.
Experience in regulatory documentation, compliance tracking, and liaison activities with regulatory authorities, utilities, and government agencies.
