Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join FOXO and help build intelligent, scalable, and reliable AI systems that transform healthcare delivery. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in multi-agent AI systems, LLM applications, agentic workflows, and AI-driven automation, with a proven ability to take AI solutions from concept to production.

You will work closely with product, engineering, and clinical teams to develop AI capabilities that enhance clinical workflows, improve operational efficiency, and deliver meaningful healthcare experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy multi-agent AI systems using LLMs, agent orchestration frameworks, and tool-calling architectures.
Build intelligent, autonomous agent workflows capable of reasoning, planning, task execution, and collaboration between specialized agents.
Develop production-grade AI applications using technologies such as Python, LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or equivalent frameworks.
Integrate LLMs with APIs, databases, knowledge bases,



enterprise systems, and external tools.
Implement RAG pipelines, vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering, and context management.
Design AI systems with solid focus on reliability, observability, scalability, latency, and cost optimization.
Evaluate and improve agent performance through testing, benchmarking, monitoring, and continuous iteration.
Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and clinical stakeholders to translate healthcare use cases into AI-powered solutions.
Follow responsible AI, data privacy, security, and healthcare-specific quality standards.

Requirements:
5+ years of qualified experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, Applied AI, or a closely related field.
Proven hands-on experience building and deploying multi-agent systems or agentic AI applications in real-world production or advanced project environments.
