Role Description
The Purchasing Manager is a full time, in office role based in Bengaluru, responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for materials, components,



and services required for motor design and manufacturing. The role involves developing and implementing purchasing strategies, identifying and qualifying suppliers, negotiating pricing and contracts, and ensuring timely delivery aligned with production schedules. The Purchasing Manager will monitor inventory levels, analyze material requirements, and coordinate closely with production, engineering, quality, and finance teams to maintain optimal stock and cost control. Daily tasks include reviewing purchase requisitions, issuing purchase orders, tracking supplier performance, resolving delivery or quality issues, and maintaining accurate purchasing records and reports. The role also contributes to continuous improvement by driving cost optimization initiatives, supporting vendor development, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
