Role Description
The Pharmacist role at Sanjivani Hospital - India is a full time, on-site position based in Haldwani. The Pharmacist will dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions, verify dosages, and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include counseling patients on proper medication use, potential side effects,



and storage, as well as coordinating with physicians and nurses to clarify prescriptions and support treatment plans. The role involves maintaining inventory, checking expiry dates, managing stock levels, and ensuring proper storage conditions for all medications and supplies. The Pharmacist will also update and maintain records in the hospital information system, contribute to medication safety initiatives, and support quality assurance processes within the pharmacy.

Qualifications
Professional pharmacy knowledge and skills, including robust understanding of pharmacology, therapeutics, and drug interactions.
Ability to interpret and validate prescriptions, with attention to dosage calculations and patient safety.
Competence in maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and following standard operating procedures.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to counsel patients
