Role Overview To manage the end-to-end procurement process from receiving purchase requirements to vendor identification, quotation comparison, negotiation, purchase order processing, order follow-up, dispatch coordination, delivery, and documentation. The role will be responsible for ensuring the right quality, quantity and price are achieved while ensuring timely availability of materials/products.
Key Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end procurement from purchase requirement to final delivery.
Source and evaluate vendors; obtain and compare quotations.
Negotiate price, quality, payment terms and delivery timelines.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely approvals.
Coordinate with vendors for order confirmation, dispatch and delivery.
Coordinate with logistics and internal teams to ensure timely receipt of materials.
Resolve issues related to shortages, damages, quality and delayed deliveries.
Maintain vendor records, purchase documents and procurement MIS.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and develop reliable alternate vendors.
Skills & Competencies
Robust vendor management and negotiation skills.
Positive knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/SAP.
Robust follow-up, coordination and communication skills.
Ability to independently manage the complete procurement cycle.
Medical Device / Healthcare industry experience will be preferred.
