Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced AR Caller to join our US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management team. The candidate will be responsible for handling insurance follow-ups, claim status verification, denial resolution, and accounts receivable management by communicating with US insurance payers and provider offices.
The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal communication skills, good knowledge of the US Healthcare RCM process, and the ability to achieve productivity and quality targets.
Key Responsibilities
Perform AR follow-up on outstanding and unpaid medical claims.
Contact US insurance payers to check claim status and determine reasons for non-payment.
Follow up on denied, rejected, underpaid, and pending claims.
Identify claim issues and take appropriate action, including correction and resubmission.
Handle payer calls professionally and document call outcomes accurately.
Follow up with insurance companies and provider offices to resolve claim-related issues.
Work on aging AR accounts and prioritize claims based on aging and client requirements.
Review EOBs/ERAs to identify payment discrepancies and denial reasons.
Initiate appeals or provide required information for claim reconsideration when applicable.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all follow-up activities.
Meet daily/monthly productivity, quality, and collection targets.
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team or supervisor.
Follow HIPAA, client policies, SOPs, and data privacy requirements.
Required Skills
2+ years of experience in US Healthcare AR Calling / RCM.
Robust knowledge of US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management.
Experience in Insurance/Payer Follow-up.
Valuable understanding of medical claims, denials, rejections, EOBs, and ERAs.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate confidently with US insurance payers.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Solid attention to detail.
Ability to work under targets and handle high-volume claims.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and healthcare billing systems.
