A global pharmaceutical company building out its India finance hub has partnered with Flexiple to hire a Senior Financial Analyst who will own financial planning and analysis for one of its therapy-area business units, working closely with commercial and R and D finance partners.

The scope of the role The India hub currently supports reporting and basic analysis for global business units; this role is part of an effort to push that scope toward genuine business partnering, where finance input shapes decisions rather than just documenting them after the fact.

What you would take on
Own monthly forecasting and variance analysis for your therapy area, including R and D spend trends where relevant
Build business cases for recent product launches and portfolio investment decisions, partnering directly with commercial teams
Prepare the reporting pack for the global business unit's monthly review, with a explicit narrative behind the numbers
Support annual budgeting, working across commercial, R and D and manufacturing cost centres for your area




Improve existing models and templates as the hub takes on more complex analysis over time

What we are looking for

5 to 9 years in FP and A, corporate finance or commercial finance, with pharmaceutical, healthcare or life-sciences exposure considered a solid advantage given the regulatory and R and D dynamics involved. Strong financial modelling and Excel skills are expected, along with the judgment to flag a risk in a launch plan before it becomes a variance six months later.

Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai or Remote (India).
