About the Role

We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to create intuitive, user-centered experiences for AI-powered applications within a regulated healthcare and life sciences setting. The role involves designing seamless interfaces that simplify complex clinical, regulatory, and business workflows. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, AI engineers, and domain experts to translate user needs into effective design solutions.

The ideal candidate will leverage user research, interaction design, and prototyping expertise to deliver accessible and engaging digital experiences. This position offers the prospect to shape how users interact with advanced AI technologies while driving adoption, usability, and business impact.

Key Responsibilities
Design user interfaces for AI-powered applications across clinical operations, safety, regulatory, and medical affairs domains
Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma or similar tools
Conduct user research, persona development, and usability testing with end-users




Collaborate with Data Scientists and Backend/Frontend Developers to ensure designs are technically feasible
Establish and maintain design systems and component libraries for consistency across workstreams
Design intuitive interactions for AI/GenAI features (e.g., agentic workflows, RAG-powered search, AI-generated content review)
Support SAGE tooling UX design for AI-DLC platform interfaces
Ensure compliance with WCAG accessibility standards and pharma UX best practices

Requirement
4+ years of UI/UX design experience with enterprise SaaS or data-intensive applications
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process (research → wireframes → prototypes → handoff)
Proficiency in Figma (primary tool); experience with design systems and component libraries
Experience designing for AI/ML-powered applications (dashboards, conversational UIs, agentic workflows)
Understanding of frontend frameworks (React, NextJS) to facilitate developer handoff
Solid user research and usability testing skills
