Responsibilities:
Develop and customize Shopify themes, handling both front-end and back-end development
Collaborate with design and marketing teams to implement custom features and functionalities
Optimize Shopify websites for speed, scalability, and user experience
Integrate third-party apps and APIs to enhance store functionality
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs
Work closely with clients to translate business needs into technical requirements
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Shopify stores
Stay updated with latest e-commerce and Shopify trends and technologies
Develop custom Shopify apps or features as needed
Train and assist colleagues on technical tasks and best practices
Qualifications:
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language
Experience with Shopify APIs and app integrations
Robust knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development
Familiarity with version control tools like Git
Ability to manage multiple projects independently
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred:
Experience with Shopify Plus features
Knowledge of headless commerce and using Shopify as headless CMS
Development experience of custom Shopify apps
