We are looking for a skilled Turning Machine Operator to operate and maintain turning machines according to engineering drawings and quality specifications.
Key Responsibility
Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
Perform turning, facing, threading, grooving, drilling, and related machining operations.
Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Ensure components meet required quality and dimensional specifications.
Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance.
Identify machining defects or machine issues and report them promptly.
Maintain machining records and follow safety and quality procedures.
Minimise material wastage and ensure timely completion of production targets.
