Role & responsibilities
Manage and support Google Cloud database services including Cloud SQL, Spanner, Bigtable, Memorystore, Redis, and Datastream.
Perform database installation, configuration, performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Implement and maintain replication, schema design, query optimization, and database security controls.
Monitor, maintain, and upgrade cloud database settings to ensure high availability and security.
Provision, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure resources such as servers, storage, and networks.
Investigate, diagnose, and resolve database, system, and network-related issues.
Provide technical support and consultation to internal and external customers.




Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and incident resolutions.
Ensure compliance with SLAs, operational standards, and quality benchmarks.
Participate in 24x7 rotational shift support and assist with critical customer escalations.

Preferred candidate profile

A proactive cloud database professional with robust GCP database administration experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, customer-centric mindset, and the ability to support mission-critical environments in a rapid-paced operational setup
