Role & responsibilities
Accompany surgeons for daily ward rounds
Coordinate cross referrals both IP / OP
Collect history & examine patients preop / make EMR entry
Facilitate the EMR entry in OPD, IP & OT as well as discharge summary.
To help the surgeons in the insurance & query forms done on time
Coordinate the surgical patients for inhouse investigation
Handhold the patients for surgical admission
Do the OT booking via EMR, coordinate the timings with patient/ surgeon & anaesthetist.
Ensure preoperative investigations & Pre Anaesthesia Checkup for all Pediatric Surgery Patients.
Handle the procedures ordered under the supervision of the surgeons.
Responsible for all Day care discharge summary
To be coordinate with VIP surgery patients.
Any emergency call from ER / IP to be coordinated with the surgeons if they arent available by phone.
Keep track of all the surgical patients for postop followup
To facilitate the outstation patients for OPD visit & surgery date fixing as a one point coordination.
To coordinate with surgeons to do clinical audits
