Must Have :
Build recent instances of IBM MQ, Manage, configure, and monitor MQ Listeners, Command Servers, Channel initiators, Trigger Monitors, MQ Log files & Dead Letter Queues
Setup of IBM Websphere MQ in a cluster setting for both load balancing and Failover
Assess current-state MQ environments, including queue managers, channels, queues, security configurations, and dependencies.
Analyze compatibility impacts, deprecated features, and current capabilities in the target MQ version/platform.
Detailed knowledge of IBM MQ and IBM Websphere Message Broker 8 or IIB
Able to setup security for WebSphere MQ queues & other objects for data access and for administration using role-based security.
Proficient in SSL Configuration on WebSphere MQ.
Troubleshoot Infrastructure and Application issues related to MQ/MB
Responsibilities :
Modify/re-design configuration/applications to resolve identified issues.
IBM Websphere MQ best practices for setup/monitoring as well as usage
Provide impact analysis of newer versions and provide upgrade paths and plan and upgrade servers with the appropriate versions and patches of IBM Websphere MQ
