Requirements:

We are seeking a skilled Java AWS Key Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining the Java application that integrates with the Snowflake Data Warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing connectors, RESTAPIs, and other components to facilitate seamless data transfer between the applications hosted on AWS Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop Java-based connectors, RESTAPIs, and other components to enable productive data integration between the XYZ Java application and the ABC Snowflake Data Warehouse.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Implement data pipelines and ETL processes within the Java application to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Optimize data workflows and performance by leveraging AWS services and Java best practices.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in Java and data integration domains.

Must Have:
Proficient in Java programming language and its ecosystem (e.g., Spring,



Hibernate, JUnit).
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, data integration patterns, and data modeling techniques.
Familiarity with SQL, scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash), and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes (ETL/ELT).
Knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda) and cloud-native architectures.
Ability to work in an Agile development workplace and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to have:
Experience with Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, or other big data technologies.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
Knowledge of Snowflake data warehousing concepts and query optimization techniques.
Certification in Java, AWS, or other relevant technologies.
