Manage and coordinate MEP design activities for real estate and building construction projects, covering Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems and ensuring coordinated, practical and code-compliant designs.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review MEP design drawings, layouts and design documentation.
Design and/or coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting and other building services.
Coordinate MEP designs with architectural and structural drawings to ensure constructability and avoid clashes.
Prepare BOQs, specifications, load calculations and other design documentation.
Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications and applicable standards.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, project teams and site personnel for design requirements and execution.
Conduct site visits to resolve design and execution issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, statutory requirements and project specifications.
Identify design clashes and coordinate timely resolutions, preferably using AutoCAD.
Lead and guide the design team and coordinate design deliverables with project schedules.
Preferred Age: 30 to 40 years. Managerial experience is preferred/required for the managerial role. AutoCAD proficiency is essential; an AutoCAD course is preferred. Experience in real estate/building projects will be an advantage.
