Job Responsibilities
Evaluating and developing radiation instruments and procedures
Optimizing the physical and technical aspects of radiation treatments
Assuring the accurate measurement and delivery of radiation doses
Implementing and monitoring quality control and safety protocols in the use of radiation
Collaborating with other healthcare professionalssuch as oncologists and radiologistsin the simulation , importing of scansimage regisrteration, planning and implementation of patient treatment programs
Ensuring radiation protection for patientsstaff and the general public
Conducting research to enhance current treatment methods and develop current technologies
Providing education and training on radiation safety and medical physics to healthcare staff
Maintaining a qualified understanding of advancements in medical physics and radiation therapy
To participate in training programs to maintain and update the qualified knowledge.
