Job Summary

Data Officer (Central Maintenance Support). BSM. As a Data Officer at BSM, you will be responsible for supporting the effective and efficient functioning of the PMS Team. Ensure the vessel Databases are properly built and maintained as accurately as possible. Ensure issues raised by the vessels via Zoho tickets are resolved effectively and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
Supports the BSM Maintenance strategy, standards, policies, procedures, and systems for the most effective and effective operation of all vessels under BSM full management in accordance with relevant legislation, industry best practices and quality standards.
Assist with Data Base Creation for new vessels
Ensure the Data Base Library is maintained in a proper manner.
Assist with Zoho Ticket resolution relevant to PMS Data Support.
Assist with data entry and corrections Data Library and vessel Database.
Engage directly with the SMC (PMSO/ERPS) to obtain all required information.
Update the relevant control and communication systems like ClickUp, Zoho, SharePoint.




Train subordinates and new joinees as and when required with respect to DB Creation, its maintenance and correction.
Ensure the PMS Database is as accurate as possible based on all available sources.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Applications or Marine Engineering
At least 1 year experience assisting in a similar role in DB building activity for vessels
Sailing experience in any rank will be an added advantage

Skills & Competencies
Fluency in English
Valuable knowledge on computer applications
Good organizational and time management skills
Sea going experience will be considered an added advantage
