Role & responsibilities:
Solid experience in IBM CICS Transaction Server (CICS TS) administration, including CICSPlex SM, CICS region management, and transaction processing.
Expertise in CICS performance tuning, recovery management, diagnostics, dump analysis, and problem determination.
Experience integrating CICS with IBM MQ, DB2, RACF, and z/OS subsystems.
Knowledge of high-availability, workload management, and mission-critical transaction processing environments.
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019, VMware ESX, and public/private cloud settings, including on-premises to cloud migrations.

Preferred candidate profile:
Experience with CICSPlex SM, CICS upgrades, migrations, maintenance, and release management.
Knowledge of OMEGAMON for CICS, CICS Explorer, JCL, SMP/E, and REXX.
Familiarity with Parallel Sysplex, workload balancing, disaster recovery, and resilience architectures.
Understanding of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
Experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), vulnerability management, Active Directory, and ADFS.
Robust troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
