We are looking for an experienced Finance & Accounts qualified to join our Finance team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in accounting, audit, MIS reporting, financial controls and statutory compliance.
Candidates with prior experience in the Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Shipping, Transportation or Supply Chain industry will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting and finance activities.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
- Perform vendor, customer and bank reconciliations.
- Support monthly MIS reporting and financial analysis.
- Coordinate and support internal and statutory audit activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable GST,
TDS and other statutory requirements.
- Monitor financial controls and ensure accuracy of accounting transactions.
- Review invoices, payments, receipts, journal entries and supporting documents.
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyse financial/MIS reports for management.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Coordinate with internal departments, vendors and other stakeholders.
- Support management in financial control, reporting and compliance-related activities.
