At Chocolove, we craft artisanal chocolates and confections that are rooted in quality, precision, and a deep love for the craft. We are looking for a Commis 1 or equivalent Confectionery & Chocolate Production who is detail-oriented, disciplined, and passionate about working in a quick-paced, premium kitchen environment.
Role Overview
You will work closely with the Head Chef to execute daily chocolate production, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across all products. This role requires hands-on involvement in production, team coordination, and maintaining high kitchen standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in daily chocolate production, including enrobing, coating, and finishing of products
- Ensure consistency and quality across all Chocolove products
- Support and coordinate with the team to meet daily production targets
- Execute precise product finishing and presentation in line with brand standards
- Maintain strict adherence to kitchen SOPs, hygiene, and food safety protocols
- Manage and monitor ingredient inventory, stock levels, and storage practices
- Contribute to the smooth day-to-day operations of the chocolate production department
- Assist in organizing workflows to improve efficiency and reduce wastage
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 1–3 years of experience in pastry/chocolate production (artisan or premium brands preferred)
- Strong understanding of chocolate handling techniques (tempering, enrobing, finishing)
- Detail-oriented with a focus on consistency and quality
- Ability to manage time and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Basic team handling and coordination skills
- High standards of cleanliness, organization, and discipline
