Senior Business Consultant – Kinaxis

About the Opportunity

We are hiring for our client, a growing technology company in Bangalore working in the Supply Chain Technology space. The role is suited to professionals with strong experience in manufacturing planning, production planning and demand management, combined with software consulting or implementation exposure.

Location : Bangalore / Work From Home

Experience 5-8 years

What You Will Do

Participate in deep-dive customer business requirement discovery sessions and develop clear requirements specifications.

Support the Solution Architect in developing practical and creative solutions to complex business problems while maintaining best practices.

Guide and mentor junior consultants during project delivery.

Learn and work with Kinaxis Maestro and perform solution configuration.

Conduct training for customer end users on the configured solution.

Understand supply chain industry trends and benchmark customer processes against relevant practices.

Support customers in achieving the business benefits captured in the business case.

Support solution validation and testing and capture user feedback.

Support data management and data integration activities.

Undertake other reasonable project-related activities as assigned by the Project Manager.

What We're Looking For

5–8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing planning, production planning and demand management within the Supply Chain domain.

Experience in software consulting, implementation or technology-enabled supply chain projects.

Exposure to manufacturing planning solutions such as Kinaxis, SAP, JDA or similar platforms.





Robust understanding of supply chain engineering concepts, statistical forecasting, inventory management, MRP and scheduling.

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Technical exposure to SQL, R, Python, JavaScript or similar technologies.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills, with confidence in customer-facing roles.

Ability to learn a current application quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to collaborate with people at different levels across customer and project teams.

Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.

Willingness to travel for client engagements when required.

Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field, with a strong academic record.

Technologies / Domain Exposure

Preferred exposure: Kinaxis Maestro, SAP, JDA and other manufacturing / supply chain planning solutions. Technical skills: SQL, R, Python, JavaScript and related technologies.
