What Youll Be Doing (position summary):The Cloud Project Control Officer (PCO)is responsible foroverseeing and coordinating project controls within the Cloud Engineering & Transformation CLOUD PMO team. This role ensuresthe effectivetracking, monitoring, and follow-up of project-related requests and deliverables. The Cloud PCO applies independent judgment within established frameworks to support resource allocation, budgeting, planning, compliance, and project tracking.Acting as a technical liaison, the Cloud PCO provides guidance to project teams and leverages subject matter expertise to drive project success.The positionoperateswith minimal supervision tofacilitatethe development, implementation, and ongoing management of cloud technology platforms, processes, procedures, and governance.At CIBC India we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (including on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.How Youll Succeed (responsibilities):Manage project controls for cloud initiatives, including the tracking and monitoring of project milestones, deliverables, and information requestsMaintain accurate and timely reporting across key project control areas, including resourcing, budgeting, planning, compliance, and status trackingApply appropriate project control methods and practices to support effective project oversight, transparency, and decision-makingMonitor project performance against established plans, identify variances, and escalate issues, risks, or gaps as requiredCoordinate and consolidate inputs from project team members and subject matter experts to support the achievement of project objectivesExercise independent judgment within established procedures to manage project control activities and ensure reporting accuracy and consistencyProvide technical guidance and support to project team members on project control processes, tools, templates, and reporting requirementsSupport the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of cloud technology platforms, processes, procedures, and governance modelsEnsure project documentation, reporting artifacts, and control records are maintained in accordance with governance and compliance requirementsContribute to the successful delivery of cloud transformation initiatives by strengthening project governance, control discipline, and execution support.CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPSCollaborates with business units, infrastructure and operations teams, and application owners,Architecture and engineering teams,



information security and compliance stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery. Project and delivery teamsCOMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIESAs an employee of CIBC, the incumbent must comply with all applicable CIBC and Line of Business policies, standards, guidelines and controls.AUTHORITIES/DECISION RIGHTSAs a key contributor to the business unit, this job has the authority to Recommend improvements to application design, development processes, and delivery practices.Contribute to technical decisions within the scope of assigned initiatives.Identify and escalate risks, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.JOB DIMENSIONSDeliver application development support across multiple initiatives and business prioritiesContribute to the timely and quality delivery of software solutionsSupport operational excellence through reliable development, deployment, and maintenance practicesWork within established security, compliance, and change management frameworksExperience: 5+ years of experienceWho You Are (skills/qualifications):Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science,Business or related field.Must Have Skills:5+ years of experience tracking and monitoring cloud project progress, with a focus on ensuring the timely completion of milestones and deliverablesAbility to provide accurate and timely reporting to support resource management, budget tracking, and compliance requirementsStrong collaboration and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams and subject matter experts to resolve issues and support project outcomesFamiliarity with cloud governance frameworks, technology processes, and supporting operational controlsStrong organizational and analytical skills, with experience in project control, project coordination, or a similar role within a technology environmentAbility to work independently within established guidelines while contributing effectively in a collaborative team environmentTechnical knowledge of cloud platforms and project management practicesGood to Have:Familiarity with banking, enterprise technology, or regulated environmentsAbout CIBCCIBC is a leading North American bank,
