Job purpose

One of our leading financial services industry client is seeking a Developer to design, build and support the Fund Administrator platform and related automation solutions used by the client team. The role combines hands-on Power Platform automation development with Python/React application development for the fund administration and reconciliation platform, working closely with the Delivery Lead and business stakeholders to translate manual, error-prone processes into reliable, well-documented automated solutions.

Key responsibilities

- Design, build and maintain the Fund Administrator platform a Python (FastAPI) backend and React frontend used for Trial Balance and PCAP reconciliation and LP/GP waterfall reporting.
- Develop and support data integrations with PCS Investran APIs, SFTP/PGP file feeds, and SharePoint-based mapping/configuration tables that drive the reconciliation engine.
- Build, enhance and support Power Platform automations (Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, Microsoft Forms).
- Implement and maintain authentication and access control (Azure AD/Entra ID SSO) for internal platforms, and configure hosting/deployment on Azure App Service and Azure Static Web Apps.
- Manage source control (GitHub), basic CI/CD, and coordinate with the MSP/infrastructure team on Azure environment setup, monitoring and cost management.
- Monitor scheduled jobs/flows,



troubleshoot breaks or failures across the reconciliation.
- Work directly with business stakeholders (fund administration, HR/operations) to gather requirements, configure SharePoint-driven business rules (without requiring code changes where possible), and continuously improve existing automations.
- Document technical designs, configurations and support runbooks for all platforms and automations owned.

Key competencies

- Hands-on development experience with Microsoft Power Platform – Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Forms, Planner and Teams integrations.
- Working proficiency in Python (FastAPI or similar) and up-to-date frontend development (React.js).
- Familiarity with Azure services – App Service, Static Web Apps, Azure Functions, Azure AD/Entra ID, Azure
- SQL/SQLite.
- Experience with REST API integrations; exposure to SFTP and file encryption (PGP) is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of private equity/fund administration concepts (Trial Balance, PCAP, LP/GP waterfall) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ownership mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to work directly with business stakeholders, including client-side teams, and translate manual processes into automated solutions.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; comfortable documenting technical work for non-technical audiences.
