- Handle day-to-day quality inspection and control activities at the plant.
- Inspect raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Monitor production quality parameters and ensure product specifications are maintained.
- Identify defects, rejection, and quality deviations and coordinate corrective actions.
- Work closely with the Production team to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain inspection reports, test reports, rejection/rework records, and quality documentation.
- Conduct basic Root Cause Analysis and CAPA for recurring quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and customer specifications.
- Supervise and guide quality inspectors/helpers.
- Support customer complaints, audits, and continuous quality improvement.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in Steel / Metal Manufacturing Quality.
- Positive knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques.
- Basic knowledge of RCA, CAPA, 5 Why, and quality documentation.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working on the shop floor.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quality reporting.
