Job Description: Project Manager for SAP SBI Solution Role

Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to lead a critical SAP ECC automation project focused on implementing a Self-Billing Invoice solution. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading a specialized team of SAP functional consultants and developers to deliver a seamless, automated financial process. This role requires a blend of technical SAP literacy, rigorous project management methodologies, and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Lifecycle Management: Lead the project through all phases: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring/Control, and Closing.

• Team Leadership: Manage a cross-functional team of SAP FICO Functional Consultants and ABAP Developers, ensuring clear task delegation and accountability.

• Scope & Schedule Management: Define project scope, develop detailed work breakdown structures (WBS), and maintain the project timeline to ensure on-time delivery.

• Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify technical and operational risks; develop mitigation strategies and escalate critical issues to leadership as necessary.

• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the contractor team and Finance/Procurement stakeholders, providing regular status reports and executive briefings.

• Budget Oversight:



Monitor project expenditures and ensure resource utilization remains within the approved budgetary framework.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables (FSDs, TSDs, and Test Scripts) meet internal standards and comply with financial audit requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of Project Management experience, with at least 5 years specifically leading SAP implementation or enhancement projects.

• SAP Knowledge: Strong understanding of the SAP ecosystem (ECC preferred). While not required to be hands-on, the candidate must understand the SAP implementation lifecycle (ASAP or Agile methodologies).

• Methodology: Proficiency in PM tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, or SAP Solution Manager) and formal methodologies (PMP/Prince2 certification is a plus).

• Domain Expertise: Familiarity with SAP Finance (FI) or Procure-to-Pay (PTP) processes is highly desirable.

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Skills: • Experience managing third-party contractors within a large enterprise workplace.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical challenges into business impact statements.

• Proven ability to manage change management activities during software deployments.
