Role & responsibilities

- 8 - 14 years of experience in Oracle HCM applications, with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll.
- Must have worked on at least two end-to-end Oracle Fusion Payroll implementations, with strong Oracle US Payroll experience; Canada Payroll experience is a plus.
- In-depth hands-on configuration across Legislative Data Groups, payroll definitions and calendars, Payroll Statutory Units / Tax Reporting Units, elements, input values, element eligibility, calculation cards, balances, payment methods and payroll costing.
- Strong knowledge of QuickPay, payroll flows, retroactive processing, proration, balance adjustments, costing and payment processing.
- Hands-on expertise in Payroll Fast Formulas and troubleshooting complex payroll calculation and configuration issues.
- Strong understanding of US payroll processing, including federal, state and local taxation, quarter-end / year-end activities and legislative updates.
- Experience with HDL / payroll data conversion, payroll extracts and reporting, with the ability to collaborate with technical teams on integrations and extensions.
- Ability to perform fit-gap analysis, translate business requirements into scalable configuration, and lead unit testing, UAT / regression testing,



quarterly release readiness and production issue resolution.

Strong client-facing communication and delivery leadership, including risk / escalation management, team guidance and working knowledge of Core HR and related HCM touchpoints.

As a Manager, you will serve as the functional lead and client-facing subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll, combining deep payroll configuration expertise with delivery leadership across implementation, enhancement and production support engagements.

- Lead the Oracle HCM Payroll functional workstream across solution design, configuration, testing, cutover, hypercare and ongoing support.
- Lead client requirement and design discussions, translate payroll policies into Oracle configuration, and provide transparent recommendations on solution options and impacts.
- Own complex payroll functional issues from analysis through resolution, driving root-cause analysis and sustainable fixes.
- Review payroll configurations, functional designs and deliverables for quality, accuracy, controls and adherence to agreed standards.
- Manage incidents, service requests, changes and problem records in line with SLAs / KPIs, including prioritization, risks, escalations and stakeholder communication.
- Coordinate with Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Time and Labor, Integrations, Reporting and Finance teams, and lead quarterly release impact assessment and regression testing.

Mentor functional consultants, provide configuration oversight, build team capability and drive continuous improvement while maintaining strong client relationships.
