ey Responsibilities

- Manage procurement of project materials and equipment for Transmission Line and Substation projects from Corporate Office.
- Understand project requirements, BOQs, specifications, approved vendor lists, and procurement schedules.
- Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs to approved and potential suppliers.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop suitable vendors/OEMs for project requirements.
- Obtain and analyse techno-commercial offers and prepare comparative statements.
- Conduct commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and favourable terms.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Quality, Stores, Finance, and Planning teams for procurement requirements.
- Ensure timely placement of Purchase Orders/Work Orders in line with project procurement plans.
- Follow up with suppliers for order acknowledgement, drawings/documents, manufacturing progress, inspection, dispatch, and delivery.
- Monitor supplier commitments and take corrective actions in case of delays.
- Coordinate with the Quality team for inspection and testing requirements before dispatch.
- Ensure procurement is carried out as per approved specifications, contractual requirements, and company procurement procedures.
- Support cost optimization through alternate sourcing, value engineering, bulk procurement, and vendor development.




- Maintain effective communication with site teams and resolve procurement-related issues.
- Track procurement status and prepare MIS, procurement trackers, and management reports.
- Maintain proper documentation related to enquiries, quotations, negotiations, comparative statements, approvals, and purchase orders.
- Support resolution of supplier commercial and contractual issues, including price variation, delivery delays, and claims.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, approval matrix, and audit requirements.

Education: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
