Key Responsibilities Application Development & Enhancement

- Design, code and unit-test assigned modules/features of the core insurance admin application
Fix production defects; perform data corrections
Analyse and resolve batch job failures
Participate in requirement walkthroughs with Business System Analysts (BSA)
Follow secure coding, testing and documentation standards

Database & Data Management

- Execute SQL queries, data fixes, and data validation




- Manage DB2/Oracle operations including binding and performance tuning
- Support data migration and batch processing activities

Batch & System Operations

- Monitor and support batch jobs and month-end processing activities
- Troubleshoot and fix critical batch failures in real time
- Ensure smooth processing of business-critical insurance operations

Stakeholder Communication

- Provide regular status updates in daily/weekly meetings
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and offshore/onshore stakeholders
- Present insights using Excel, PowerPoint reports, and dashboards
