Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Conduct fabrication, machining, and assembly inspections as per approved drawings, customer specifications, and QAP requirements.
- Verify dimensional accuracy, welding quality, and surface finish to ensure conformance to engineering and quality standards.
- Review and implement QAPs / ITPs, identify hold and witness points, and coordinate with customer / third-party inspectors for approvals.
- Coordinate effectively with Design, Production, Planning, and Purchase teams to ensure inspection readiness and timely resolution of quality issues.
- Handle customer and third-party inspections, ensuring timely communication, documentation, and closure of inspection observations.
- Ensure prompt closure of Non-Conformities (NCs) raised during in-house or customer inspections by initiating corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, material traceability records, and final quality dossiers for dispatch clearance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to process and product quality.

Experience & Qualification Requirements:





- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
- 36 years of experience in quality inspection within a crane, heavy fabrication, or material handling equipment industry.
- Hands-on experience with standard measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, etc.).
- Knowledge of fabrication, welding, and machining inspection techniques.
- Familiarity with MIG welding processes and basic painting inspection.
- Preferably qualified in NDE methods such as UT, MPI, PT/DP, RT.
- Preferably certified as an Internal Auditor (ISO 9001 QMS).
- Experience in customer / third-party inspections, QAP interpretation, and NCR closure process preferred.
- Solid documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
