Strategic Sourcing Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support sourcing initiatives, supplier management, and procurement operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve supplier performance, and ensure effective procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute sourcing activities including RFI, RFQ, RFP, supplier evaluation, and selection.
- Conduct spend analysis and market research to identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Support supplier negotiations and contract management activities.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement requirements.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts, and supplier agreements.
- Track sourcing savings, supplier metrics, and procurement KPIs.




- Assist in supplier risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 8 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of sourcing and supplier management processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement tools such as SAP, Ariba
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Exposure to category management and contract negotiations.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or CSCP are a plus.
