Position: Operations Manager - Transportation Division

Location: Tanzania

Key Responsibilities:-

- Manage day-to-day transportation and fleet operations.
- Ensure maximum utilization of truck fleets and minimize vehicle downtime.
- Oversee loading and offloading activities and ensure timely dispatches.
- Plan vehicle allocation, route scheduling, and delivery operations.
- Monitor fleet performance, turnaround time, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with drivers, warehouse teams, and transport staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and transport regulations.
- Prepare operational reports and implement measures to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Requirements:-

- Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.




- 10-12 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations.
- Proven experience managing truck fleets and transportation teams.
- Robust leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting.
- Experience in Africa will be an added advantage.
