Admission Counsellor

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Admission Counsellor to guide prospective students and parents through the admission process. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students, explaining courses and programs, handling enquiries, following up with leads, and supporting the institution in achieving its admission targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, programs, eligibility, fees, and career opportunities.
- Understand students educational backgrounds, interests, and career goals to recommend suitable programs.
- Handle enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, walk-ins, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication throughout the admission process.
- Convert qualified enquiries/leads into confirmed admissions.




- Explain admission procedures, documentation requirements, fee structures, scholarships, and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, applications, and admissions in the CRM or database.
- Coordinate with academic, administration, and accounts teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Organize and participate in admission drives, seminars, counselling sessions, education fairs, and promotional events.
- Meet individual and team admission targets while maintaining a positive student experience.
- Prepare regular reports on leads, conversions, follow-ups, and admission status.
- Stay updated on courses, curriculum, admission policies, and relevant educational trends.
