Role & responsibilities

•Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase of supplies, services and equipment from potential vendors. •Planning and budgeting of purchase functions, involving cost estimation, contract negotiations. • Develop negotiation strategy and lead negotiations for select commodities. •Sending online RFQ's & Conducting Reverse Auction based on internal estimates on ARIBA tool for getting the best price for materials a services. • Fulfilling operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing & following up on Purchase orders delivery and shipment schedules. •Continuous reduction in procurement cost per unit & Fulfilling procurement targets on cost, quality, delivery & availability •Effective Management of vendor database vendor Assessment & Management Process. •Evaluate supplier performance, Conducting CSM for high risk & shutdown jobs before awarding job order / contracts to vendors • Pre-qualification of vendor & Post contact Periodic evaluation of contractors/ vendors as per the CSM requirement
