Job Description

We are seeking a proactive, technically sound Semi-Qualified CA (Inter-CA / CA Finalist) to lead an operational pod handling end-to-end accounting, monthly book closure, statutory compliances, and direct client coordination. This is a leadership-track role combining technical execution, team management, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership & Execution Management:
- Lead, review, and mentor a team of 4 to 6 accountants
- Allocate client portfolios, manage work allocations, and ensure 100% adherence to statutory filing deadlines.

- Accounting & Monthly Book Closure:
- Oversee end-to-end month-end and year-end book closure processes for multi-industry clients in Zoho Books and Tally.
- Finalize Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss statements, trial balance scrutinies, and bank/inter-company reconciliations.

- Statutory Compliance & Review:
- Final review and sign-off on GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C reconciliation), TDS/TCS computations, and quarterly return filings.
- Oversee payroll compliance filings including PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax (PT).




- Assist in Income Tax return preparation, tax audit schedules, and statutory audit documentation.

- Client Relationship & Communication:
- Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for client accounts, conducting periodic financial review calls and resolving compliance queries.
- Coordinate with clients to ensure smooth data collection, missing document resolution, and advisory delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Educational Qualification: Inter-CA / Semi-Qualified CA (Completed articleship; CA Final attempts paused/ongoing).
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience working in a CA Firm workplace, with at least 1 year in a team handling/supervisory role.
- Technical Software: Advanced working knowledge of Zoho Books, Tally Prime, MS Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial modeling), and GST/Income Tax online portals.
- Soft Skills: Strong team management abilities, excellent client-facing verbal and written communication in English and Hindi/Marathi, and sharp analytical skills.
