Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve electrical and instrumentation systems across the plant. The role involves ensuring high equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, supporting preventive and breakdown maintenance, and implementing electrical and instrumentation improvement projects while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Engineering & Maintenance

- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MCCs, PCCs, VFDs, motors, switchgear,
- Monitor electrical parameters, power consumption, and equipment performance.
- Identify electrical faults and implement effective corrective actions.
- Coordinate electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and modification activities.
- Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), cable schedules, and equipment specifications.
- Ensure proper earthing, electrical protection, and safety systems.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for electrical maintenance and project activities.

Instrumentation Engineering & Maintenance

- Maintain and troubleshoot field instrumentation such as pressure, temperature, flow, level, analytical, and control instruments.
- Maintain control valves, actuators, solenoid valves, positioners, and associated instrumentation systems.




- Perform calibration and verification of instruments as per approved procedures and schedules.
- Troubleshoot PLC, DCS, SCADA, and control system-related issues.
- Review and maintain P&IDs;, instrument index, loop diagrams, datasheets, cable schedules, and hook-up drawings.
- Support instrument installation, loop checking, commissioning, and plant modifications.
- Coordinate with automation/control system vendors for troubleshooting and system upgrades.

Preventive Maintenance & Reliability

- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Analyze equipment failures and conduct root cause analysis (RCA).
- Maintain maintenance records, history, checklists, and technical documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, energy efficiency, and plant availability.
- Maintain critical spare-parts inventory and coordinate procurement requirements.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure all electrical and instrumentation work is performed in accordance with applicable safety standards and company procedures.
- Follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), permit-to-work, electrical safety, and hazardous-area requirements.
- Participate in safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and applicable industry standards.

- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
