Role & responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Growth

- Achieve primary & secondary sales targets for the region.
- Drive volume, value, market share and numeric distribution.
- Ensure effective product launches and promotions in the region.

2. Distribution & Market Coverage

- Expand distributor network and increase market reach.
- Ensure optimal beat planning, route coverage and outlet productivity.
- Monitor distributor health including ROI, stock levels, and working capital.

3. Trade Marketing & Visibility

- Drive in-store visibility, merchandising and branding.
- Ensure execution of schemes, trade promotions, displays and activations.
- Monitor scheme compliance and claim accuracy.

4. Team Leadership & Capability Building

- Lead, Coach and Develop the Sales Team
- Conduct regular field coaching, joint working and performance reviews.

5. Planning & Forecasting

- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans.
- Drive accurate demand forecasting and stock planning.

6. Financial & Credit Control





- Ensure timely collections and adherence to credit policies.
- Improve distributor profitability and cash flow.

7. Data Analysis & Reporting

- Review secondary sales, outlet coverage, SKU wise performance.
- Identify gaps in distribution, pricing, placement and promotion.

8. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance , Marketing & HR Dept

Preferred candidate profile

- MBA in Sales/Marketing or related field (preferred)
- Min 15 to Max 25+ years of experience in FMCG with at least 12+ years in General trade and regional leadership roles.
- A Candidate from Food Industry will be preferred
- Proven track record of scaling up General Trade business in food/FMCG categories.
- Robust leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and cross-functional collaboration.
