Automotive Wiring Harness Schematics

Designation: Engineer / Sr. Engineer / Lead Engineer Automotive Wiring Harness Schematics

Key requirements:

- Solid experience in 2D Wiring Harness Schematics
- Wiring diagrams, logical design and drawing quality checks
- Schematics creation
- Customer adaptation and aftermarket wiring manuals/service guides
- Knowledge of Wiring Harness Manufacturing
- Automotive Electrical Architecture and DFMA
- Knowledge of:
- Wire
- Fuse
- Relay
- Connectors
- Terminals
- Protection material selection

- Exposure to LIN, CAN and Ethernet protocols

Required tools:

- 2D ECAD: Capital Logic & XC, VeSys, Zuken E3.series, Saber
- 3D Routing: CATIA V5/V6, Creo
- Documentation: Adobe Illustrator
- PLM: Windchill / Teamcenter or equivalent
