We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in C#/.NET, REST APIs, Python, SQL databases, and modern web technologies.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining production applications and integrations. The role also involves troubleshooting complex production issues, participating in code reviews, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with product and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services, web applications, and integrations.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and service integrations.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and development tasks.
- Write clean, secure, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to other developers.
- Work with SQL databases, including data modelling, stored procedures, and query optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues using logs, metrics, and traces.
- Participate in root-cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
- Work with distributed and microservices-based architectures.
- Collaborate with product, project, operations, and client-facing teams.
- Participate in Git-based development and CI/CD processes.
- Mentor junior/mid-level engineers and contribute to technical initiatives.
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.





Required Skills

- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Robust hands-on experience in C# and .NET.
- Working proficiency in Python.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and service integrations.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases, data modelling, stored procedures, and query optimization.
- Experience with TypeScript and Angular or React.
- Understanding of microservices/distributed architecture.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD, preferably Azure DevOps or equivalent.
- Knowledge of software design principles, automated testing, and secure coding practices.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex production issues.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud architecture.
- Experience with messaging/event-streaming platforms such as Kafka, SQS, or equivalent.
- Experience with MongoDB, DynamoDB, or other NoSQL databases.
- Experience with high-volume transaction-processing systems.
- Experience in lodging, travel, airline, payments, or similar transactional domains.
- Experience with mobile application development.

AI Development Experience

Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, ChatGPT, or similar tools for development, testing, debugging, and documentation is preferred/required as specified by the hiring team.
