Roles and Responsibilities :

- Ensure smooth erection, testing, and commissioning of substations, switchyards, and control centers.
- Conduct relay testing, panel testing, and software testing to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.
- Develop site specie commissioning plan.
- Develop strong working relationships with various stakeholders, including Eskom Grid Access Unit, the Dx and Tx System Operators, RETEC, GCAC, OEMs, EPC and O&M; Contractors, external consultants, an advisers.

- Knowledge of HV/MV Switchgear Maintenance (AIS/GIS), CT / VT / PT Testing & Calibration and Busbar Differential & Line Differential Protection.

- 11kV / 33kV / 132kV Substation Operations.

- Circuit Breaker Testing & Maintenance.





- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful project execution and meet deadlines.

- Perform stability testing and troubleshooting to resolve issues related to circuit breakers, relays, and other electrical components.

Job Requirements :

- 3-12 years of experience in the power and other relevant industry with expertise in electrical commissioning & Testing.
- Robust knowledge of circuit breakers, relays, control panels, and software used in electrical systems.
- Experience in testing and commissioning of substations, switchyards, and control centers is essential.
- Strong Experience in Electrical Equipment's Testing.
