- Conduct Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) of finished Optical Fiber Cable drums
- Verify drum details:
- Drum Number
- Cable Length
- Cable Type / Specification
- Batch / Lot Number
- Check labe ling, marking, and identification of cable drums
- Inspect physical condition:
- Drum damage / breakage
- Cable surface condition
- Verify test reports and documents (TRF, QC reports, etc.)
- Ensure proper packing quality (wrapping, sealing, protection)
- Confirm compliance with customer specifications and dispatch checklist
- Identify and report Non-Conformance (NC)
- Maintain inspection records and reports
- Coordinate with production, QA/QC, and dispatch team
- Understanding of inspection and quality processes
- Documentation and record-keeping skills
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, etc.)
- Valuable observation and attention to detail
