Description:
Proven experiencein electrical design within the solar or renewable energy industry. Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst, PVSol, ETAP) and simulation tools. Solid understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and other relevant electrical components.Familiarity with electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC, IEEE) as applied to solar projects. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Design electrical systems for solar photovoltaic (PV) projects, including system layouts, electrical schematics, and equipment specifications. Perform electrical calculations, simulations, and analysis to optimize system performance,



reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and develop electrical designs that meet technical and budgetary constraints. Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to evaluate electrical infrastructure and determine optimal design solutions. Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry electrical codes and standards. Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Support procurement activities by providing technical guidance on electrical equipment selection and specifications. Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and site inspections as required. Stay updated with advancements in solar technology, electrical design tools, and industry best practices.
