Software Developer (ERP)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Developer (ERP) with solid hands-on experience in Frappe Framework and ERPNext v15. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain custom ERP applications, integrations, and workflows to support our manufacturing and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain custom Frappe/ERPNext applications, including knest_custom_app and allied modules.
- Design and customize DocTypes, server scripts, client scripts, workflows, print formats, and reports.
- Configure and enhance modules across Sales, Planning, HR/HRMS, IT Support, and Production in ERPNext v15.
- Write and optimize MySQL/MariaDB queries; support day-to-day DBA tasks on the production instance.
- Build and maintain REST API integrations between ERPNext and external systems.
- Support the live extrusion plant ERP instance, including issue triage, patching, and release deployments.




- Maintain comprehensive documentation and version control on GitHub, ensuring structured handover of all deliverables.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, scalable ERP solutions.

Required Qualifications

- 34 years of hands-on experience in Frappe Framework and ERPNext development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Jinja templating.
- Solid experience with MySQL/MariaDB, including query optimization and basic DBA tasks.
- Proven expertise in custom DocType design, server/client scripting, workflows, and print formats.
- Familiarity with Git, Linux, bench CLI, and ERPNext v15 upgrades/patch handling.
- Experience designing REST APIs and integrating third-party systems.
- Prior exposure to manufacturing environments or ERP implementations is a strong advantage.
