Technical Lead/ Manager - Enterprise Software (Java, AI & SaaS)

Job Summary

We are looking for a technically solid Technical Lead /Manager to build and lead engineering teams developing enterprise-grade software platforms and Decision Analytics Solutions combining AI, SaaS, data, analytics and modern application engineering.

Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor and develop software engineers, senior engineers and technical leads.
- Own engineering delivery and technical execution for enterprise software platforms and SaaS products.
- Drive architecture, design and development of scalable, secure, reliable and maintainable systems.
- Work closely with Product Management, Architecture, AI/ML, Data and Business teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Establish strong engineering practices covering coding standards, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, DevOps and production quality.
- Guide teams in integrating AI/ML capabilities, analytics and data services into enterprise applications.
- Identify technical risks, remove engineering bottlenecks and ensure predictable delivery.
- Participate in hiring, team structuring, performance management and technical capability development.
- Promote a culture of engineering excellence, ownership, problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Leadership & Experience

- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with significant experience leading engineering teams.
- Proven experience managing or leading high-performing engineering teams.
- Strong technical depth; this is not a purely people-management role.




- Ability to review architecture and technical designs and challenge engineering decisions.
- Experience working with Product, Architecture and senior technology leadership.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.

Education

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.

Who Should Apply

Candidates with strong software engineering fundamentals, demonstrated architectural depth, experience building production-grade enterprise systems, and the ability to engage deeply in technical decision-making. Candidates from Embedded Software/C++ or systems engineering backgrounds who have moved into enterprise software are particularly encouraged.

Who Should Not Apply

Purely people-management profiles without substantial software engineering experience, or candidates whose experience is primarily limited to framework-level development without demonstrated ownership of production systems, architecture or technical decisions.

- Cloud platforms and SaaS architecture

- Enterprise security, scalability and performance
- Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, analytics or data platforms

Preferred Background

Embedded Software / C/C++ / systems engineering experience followed by enterprise software or platform engineering experience.
